Fred had a sudden longing for fresh fields and hay- things not in the
dragon's cave. He hee-hawed and prepared to run, then saw the dragon and
remembered his quest.
"Dragon," he said. "I can not help you speak to the king, for he would
have us executed on sight. But, perhaps I could help you find your brother?"
The dragon began crying again, then gripped Fred in a bone crushing hug.
"Thank you," he said. "Thank you so much"
