Merlise describes the others so Fred knows what to look for. Griffin was the youngest Wizard in all the known lands. 23. Of course, his hair was pure white but that was to be expected with magic users. Bob was a swordsman, hired from the local army. His sword was responsive to pure souls, causing a subtle vibration in the bones of any pure ones nearby. Merlise proclaimed that she was the guide. Nuns had declared her pure enough to track the sword. Fred noted that Merlise was careful enough not to show the pride in this. His opinion of her rose. Brindle, the third member of the party, had been rescued by the local navy. He had been floating on a raft in the sea for some time. Unfortunately the sun had fried all the memory out of him. The only clue to his identity was a strange gold necklace which sometimes could cause hallucinations in attackers. Not very dependable, though. Brindle was also known for his waist length red hair and peanut shell habit. The last member of the party was the Queen's third daughter, Reianna. She had lived with elves for about five years and had been drastically changed, mentally and physically. Her fighting skills were fantastic, which was the norm for adventuring parties. What she was known for, was her intiuition and mechanical skills. She had solved no less then fourteen murder mysteries and over the course of her adventures, escaped from twelve death traps. All by using what was at hand. Fred takes this all in. "And what had this party been questing for before they sent the telepathic distress call?"
