The Never Ending Quest - Episode 3003

"Where are we?" asks Sir Josh as he looks around in total darkness.
"I have no idea." says Sir Paulito.
Sir Josh thinks for a minute. "If I recall, the user chose to have both of us dumped in the Staircase Room. So if that is true, then we should see a staircase and have a choice of going up or down."
"Sounds like you're right. But we need a source of light." says Paulito.
"Right," says Sir Josh. He produces a mini-flashlight that is attached to his keyring and turns it on. He aims the flashlight around and all they see are black walls with a large hole in the floor and a large hole in the ceiling.
"What's that?" asks Paulito.
The flashlight shines onto a sign which reads:

"So much for that!" says Paulito. "Putting us in an episode that hasn't yet been constructed!"
"I agree. What should we do?"

  1. Sir Josh and Paulito plan to jump through the hole in the floor without getting hurt..
  2. Paulito and Sir Josh agree to try to figure out how to go through the hole above their head which appears to be beyond their reach.
