Well, Sir Josh may have been teleported to some strange place, but he
didn't come unprepared. Sir Josh brought with him his pocket-size personal
digital assistant. This was a new version that had a wireless internet
connection that allowed him to send email from anywhere. One of his hands
had just enough slack in his chains to reach the pocket with his PDA in it.
He grabbed onto it and pulled it out.
The guards were more interested in the road than in the prisoners. They were chained up, what could they do? Josh was able to work with his PDA without being noticed by the guards. Josh fired up the PDA and hoped it would be able to connect to the wireless network required to send email. He had no idea where he was. If he was too far away from the network, he'd never get it to work. Sir Josh watched the screen closely. Hello Sir Josh
Scanning for network. . . . . . What can I do for you? Sir Josh selected the send email command and typed in this message: To: Sir-Toby@sir-toby.com Subject: Help!!! Dear Sir Toby, HELP!!! I was playing your story game on my computer and something went wrong. You know, the one with Fred, the dragon, the king, blah blah blah... Now it appears that I'm STUCK in YOUR story! This is not funny! I'm chained up with a group of prisoners and we're going to be turned into @#&*ing slaves! Please help! I don't want to be a slave of the dragon. This is YOUR story and is YOUR fault. So GET ME OUTTA HERE!!!!! Sir Josh quickly closed up his email. The guards were coming his way and he didn't want to have his PDA taken. All Josh could do now was sit and wait. Suddenly and out of nowhere:
