In search for Lord Fred

"Good!" says one of the four men. "We are not leaving until Lord Fred appears in this very episode."

"Uh, oh" thinks Josh. "They want Lord Fred in the story, and the King has reported him dead, this means I need to find the ghost of Lord Fred, find his dead body or find my own way into Heaven or Hell or some other after-life realm and look for Lord Fred."

"Where's Lord Fred?" asks the story police.

Sir Josh realizes that he has written Episode 168 as follows:

Always right first, then the left. Who cares what I think based on the fact that I am right handed." mutters Josh as he clicks on the choice leading to the right.
A warm breeze blows from the cave. Josh continues on inside. Strangely, it did not get darker as Josh continued on inside the cave. A ways into the cave, Josh comes to a fork. Down one direction goes a trail of water, but it got darker down that end. Down the other end it seems to be getting even brighter still.
In addition, there is some sort of makeshift grave here. On it was inscribed the words

Here lies Lord Fred.
Fred's Dead.
By the way, Fred didn't kill himself. Josh did it.

The story police read 2997 that Sir Josh started and order him to exhume Lord Fred's remains and revive him.

"Revive a dead man? That's ridiculous!"

"Do it!" say the four men dressed in red toned business suits.

1. Sir Josh takes a shovel and begins exhuming Lord Fred's remains.
2. Sir Josh demolishes the tombstone in frustration with the shovel.
3. Sir Josh asks the police how he could possibly revive a corpse.
