Fred finds Link and Zelda

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 29838

Deep in the latest dungeo, Fred encounters Link and Zelda.
Unfortunately the two were locked in a jail cell. Link sports a nasty shiner. Zelda's clothing is torn around the knees and elbows. They have no weapons.
The cell was fifteen feet wide, thirty eight feet deep and the bars were four inches apart. Not only that, there were three crossbars that were six inches wide.
Link tells how they were captured in a darkened hallway by men wearing dark purple. They were subdued, tied down, searched (Zelda by a woman at least) and had anything useful taken away. Except for the arrow point in Link's hat but he didn't have any clue how that could help anything.
Fred banged on the door with his sword and only notched the metal.
What now?

  1. Fred ventures off to look for the keys.
  2. Link notices a note scrawled on the ceiling. It reads 'Hey budi chck teh hinjs'.
  3. Rincewind wanders by.
  4. Fred hid as the jailer came by. The jailer smelled like pizza.
