Fred Flees from the Psycho Princess

"Oh yes, you will," Astra responded. She hefted her sword (originally Fred's) threateningly.

Fred's nerve broke, and he turned and ran. Workers in the fields were therefore treated to the strange spectacle of a knight in armour fleeing as fast as his legs would carry him from a statuesque, naked redhead waving a sword above her head.

Since an imaginary paper costume weighs a lot less than real armour, before long Astra started to gain on Fred. It might have gone badly for him, but to his relief he saw a man with a long grey beard approaching. Since he was wearing a robe and a conical hat, surely he must be a wizard. "Help me!" he called. "She wants to kill me."

A quick spell from the wizard...

1. ...and the enchantment of insanity that the dragon had put on Astra when she was his prisoner was removed.
2. ...and Astra's sword turned into a giant carrot.
3. ...and the sword disappeared and Astra was in chains.
4. ...and absolutely nothing happened!
