Fred smiled, dropped his food, and wiped his hands with the pile of
napkins he had on his tray.Well at least he didn't use his shirt,
thought Bethany to herself. I hope he doesn't taste like ketchup.
Fred walked with Bethany to his car and opened the door for her. He got in the other side and flipped on the motor. That's when he started driving. Fred didn't want to go home, but he didn't want to look like he wasn't going home either. Every now and then Bethany would ask if he lived nearby and Fred would tell her that he thought it was close, when in fact they were ranging all over the place. He even had to stop for gas. Finally, Bethany could take no more. She told him to pull the car over into a dark parking lot. Then she kissed him,
