Fred laughs, and gets himself in trouble

Fred laughs at the destruction he has caused. Here, someone took an
enormous amount of time to hand sew all of those pages together, yet with
one slash of the sword, all is for naught. It's funny, to Fred. A
seagull alights upon a window nearby, but Fred cannot stop laughing
despite the bad omen. This is too much.
