Fred certainly remembered Diana. She had been the first woman to become a
Dragonslayer and enter the elite Brightsword Academy, around the time that
Fred had. Many of the male students did not take kindly to this. Fred
was one of the few who had supported her, and she appreciated his
companionship and admired his courage just as he did hers. One thing lead
to another, and they soon became lovers. However, she was exiled from the
kingdom after killing another student, the King's illegitimate son, in a
fit of rage. He had never expected to see her again, yet here she was.
Fred was not sure how to feel about this.
Nevertheless, he knew one thing: His honor demanded he rescue her, whatever may have happened in the past. He hurriedly untied her bonds and ran off with her in his arms.
