The Eerily Abandoned Blockbuster Video Store

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 27871

The brightly lit video store gave Sir Josh the heebie jeebies. He wanted to get out of there and call 911 but what if the employees were hurt somewhere and needed first aid? What a world.
Sir Josh steps past the geometrically insane front counter. (It described a physical shape that would not be named for fourteen years and still be derided as a delusion by many universities). The majority of the store was shaped like a capital K. Quite naturally, support poles blocked the view of the two branches. TVs hanging from the window played an extended preivew of the latest Bruce Willis movie.
Sir Josh took a better look around. The left-side of the K was mostly picture window. But the top bar held the doors to the bathrooms. The other bars must have the doors the back room and manager's offices.
Two different sections to go down, top bar or bottom bar, or go open the bathrooms. Or whatever.

  1. Sir Josh goes up the top bar.
  2. Sir Josh goes down the bottom bar.
  3. Sir Josh opens the men's room door.
  4. Sir Josh opens the women's room door.
  5. Sir Josh leans over the counter, grabs a phone and calls 911.
  6. Sir Josh panics and runs and calls 911 from a payphone.
  7. Sir Josh gasps as the employee appear in the tv and start yelling for him to help save them.
  8. Sir Josh is attacked by a zombie but fortunately it missed biting him.
  9. Sir Josh finds a portal in the floor in the games aisle.
  10. Sir Josh finds a seven year old kid in pajamas. Bobby is scared but acting very brave.
