Excalibur

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 27737

Well, this shouldn't be too hard, thinks Fred. He sat down and got out some Doritos, knowing he'd very much enjoy seeing the loser X-Men finally killed. This is almost as good as being transported to the Star Trek universe and getting to strangle Wesley Crusher.

If the next part confuses you, consult http:// users.xeroanime.com/handbook/ for all your random Marvel Universe trivia needs.

Suddenly, Fred nearly jumps out of his skin when he feels something metallic in his Doritos bag. The strange little widget he pulls out is actually a football-sized, bird-like metal head with big googley eyes. The widget eats your Doritos bag and some of the I- beams around it, and turns into a dimensional portal. Out jump the COOL X-Men... that is Excalibur, the British spinoff X-team, dedicated to protecting the multiverse from evil. It consists of Captain Britain (Brian Braddock, a man in an uniform with the British flag design covering it, who has powers of super-strength and flight granted him by Merlin and is part of the multiverse-spanning Captain Britain Corps), Meggan (a beautiful elflike blonde woman in a green spandex suit, his fiancee, who has shapeshifting powers and can tap on the energies of the Earth itself), Nightcrawler (Kurt Wagner, no introduction necessary), Shadowcat (Kitty Pryde, a fairly attractive adolescent girl, who has the power to become intangible), and Rachel Summers (a strikingly beautiful redhead who is actually the daughter of Cyclops and Phoenix from an alternate timeline (don't ask) and also a highly powerful telepath who now weilds the Phoenix Force).

So now what does Fred do?

  1. Run like hell?
  2. Try to battle the new arrivals, even though it's hopeless?
  3. Hit on Rachel Summers?
  4. Nothing, because some random character from another thread jumps out of Widget?
  5. Or jump into Widget in hopes that it will transport you into the Star Trek universe so you can kill Wesley Crusher?
