Fred gets a job at the Englewood County Library. It is a sprawling
complex, with seemingly no rhyme and reason. Maps have been put up all
across the place because of the nuns who got lost last week and were found
crying in the study room. Fred is rushed through orientation because the library desperately needs employees. Despite the chaos, he likes it here. The place is extraordinarily well stocked. The shelves are nice and clean, the brown and beige make for a please color combination on the eyes and the systems are ultra-modern. They even have a CARD CATALOGUE for those who don't like computers. Fred's first assignment is to shelve the Piers Anthony and Orson Scott Card books on ths black metal cart.
