During the whole meal, Fred thought he was accidentally oogling her
because she was so beautiful. Finally, he got up his nerve to ask her on
a real date. Karen stopped talking for a moment. "Sorry, Fred, but you
know I'm married. I have been for six months." Fred felt humiliated, especially for doing it to his boss' daughter, and Vice President of the company. As he and Karen exited the cafeteria, Karen touched his arm and said "I'm sorry, Fred. It was nice to meet you." Later that day, as Fred was returning from a delivery in the executive suite, he felt an arm jerk him through a door. The door shut swiftly behind him leaving him face to face with Karen. "Oh, I must have you!" she cried, kissing him repeatedly. She pulled Fred over to the desk "Tina, hold my calls! I don't want to be disturbed!" she yelled into the intercom. "Now," she said, turning to Fred, "where were we?" She pushed him down on to the black leather couch and fell onto him.
