The Floating City Of Los Angeles.

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 27372

Fred and his companions had no idea what in the name of heck this floating city was all about. Fortunately the inhabitants followed the code of the sea and Fred's group was swiftly rescued and cleaned up.
The helpful, blue-clad (it was fashion) citizens wanted to seperate Astra from the rest but she growled at them. Fred and Velus didn't mind because after a year and change of being on an island, it was not as if they hadn't seen everything.
Khrusti was a bit flustered but he knew what side his bread was buttered on and stayed with the group.
One full hour, with the four clean as whistles and full as cows, they met with the leader of the city.
It was a good sign that the man came to the room they were in. It was a large, rambling apartment, with sunken couch areas, blue walls, fireplaces and a pleasing, interesting amount of reading materials.
Despite this, Fred and the others stood as Johnathan came in. Astra had a fruit paring knife hidden in the blue sleeve of her sweater. Velus kept his hands behind him, claws extended. Fred had moved a couple of the heavier books to a table nearby, just in case he needed to whack anyone over the head. Khrusti had a handful of decorative rocks from the aquarium on the far side of the apartment. He had grown up poor and whanging squirrels from the trees with rocks was sometimes the only way his brothers and sisters had gotten anything to eat.
Were the concerns of the group justified?

  1. Unfortunately, yes.
  2. Thankfully, no.
