Trouble In Voyager

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 2673

Janeway swiftly activated the EMH in order to treat the superficial wounds of herself and Ensign Jones.
After the wounds were taken care of, Janeway filled the Doctor in on what she knew. It wasn't much.
Voyager had recieved a faint distress signal from a Talaxian cargo ship. Which was unusual considering they were many, many light years from Talaxian space. Neelix had recognized the voice on the message because D'ohfbert owed him four hundred and seventy nine credits and "You just don't forget the voice of a man who owes you so much."
Janeway gave the order for Paris to take them towards the signal. And then everything went black.
When she awoke, the ship was on emergencey power, everyone was missing, sytems were offline up and down the board and several life pods had exploded in their berths and the only one on board had been the Betazoid/Human Ensign Jones. (He had been installing a new replicator in the conference room). Unfortunately Jones' human side had predominated and he had no telepathich abillities whatsoever, which would have been useful in this mission. But he was a Starfleet officer. Together the two had fixed systems up and down the length of the ship until it was stable. Only then did they remove the life-pod debris that had blocked them from reaching Sickbay.
The Doctor was quite properly horrified. He went to download himself into his futuristic emmitter so he could help out better.

  1. The three headed out of Sickbay.
  2. The Doctor appeared in a ratty coat and with an overlarge, multi-colored scarf. "What in tarnation?" he said.
