"Back outside!" Fred yelled. "They turn to stone in daylight."

They all made it back outside safely, though Nixy lost her blanket in the process. "We're safe now," Fred said. "They can't come outside till dusk, and by then we'll be miles away."
One of them tripped and was captured by the trolls.
