Behemoth, dead in space

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 26224

The shut down of the engines goes badly. Chief Engineer Michaels and two of his men, Andrews and McConnelley, are killed in an energy surge. Fourteen others are injured.
The ship rumbles to a stop in a crowded area of space. Multiple planets in all directions.
Jans sits in the big brown chair while his crew does their job. Three good men, dead. Andrews...Andrews had four children and Jans had personally shaken the hands of McConnelley's parents and promised them he'd keep an eye on their boy.
Suddenly Cheif Communications Officer Frintlock (one of the few aliens on board) raises his head. "Captain! We're recieving a hail. Unknown communications protocol. Sensors report no weapons."
"On screen."
What appears on screen?

  1. A devestated bridge.
  2. A duplicate of the Behemoth's bridge. Jans thinks it is an error until he sees Andrews in the rear!
  3. A blue skinned alien with fourteen seperate attenae.
  4. Three spacesuited humanoids. "Help!" one of them cries. "Oxygen, leaking!" (Nobody knew but the 'universal translators' were the brains of kidnapped telepaths that read the minds of others. Jans would have plotzed).
