Drugged Water And The Mysterious Room They Awaken In. Hurrah.

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 25967

The drugged water puts them to sleep for six hours.
They wake up jumbled together on a small cot, in a small, rectangular room. A desk occupied much of the far wall. Shelves, shelves and more shelves filled the rest of the room like an invading army. Light came from a sunroof twenty feet above.
There was no visible escape route.
Astra found she was wearing a caorse, loose purple dress and bright red sandals. The dress smelled faintly of cheese and the shoes felt slightly damp.
Velus was dry as a bone and had some of the uglier mats in his hair clipped.
All three were hungry. Fortunately some beef jerky had made it through Fred's adventures. They ate and pondered.

  1. Look behind the shelves for an exit.
  2. Try and make it to the sun roof.
  3. Wait and see what happens. Read through some of the books to see if they contain helpful info.
  4. Examine the floor for trapdoors.
  5. Ask Velus if he smells anything funny.
  6. Suddenly the walls begin to push inwards!
  7. A man fell through the sunroof. Fred caught him. He wore a wide brimmed hat, had a whip and called himself Allarian Jones. He was an archeologist.
  8. Fred sees a very familar book. An adventure story. He owned it as a kid. It even had his signature inside. 'Property of Fred D'honaire, age 10'.
  9. Astra grows wings for no clear reason.
  10. Velus becomes frozen in time.
