Another Fight!

"We're lucky." said Borgatron. "Most of the monsters must be asleep, or sated from mealing on each other. We should arrive at our destination in just a few minutes."

But he had spoken too soon. Out of the passageway ahead two hideous monkey- like beasts raced toward them. "Demonia Orangutangs!" exclaimed Borgatron. "These dastardly creatures will eat anything. I think they would even eat me if I gave them the chance!"

The monsters paused for a second. The one in the lead howled defiantly and showed it's massive fangs, while the other clawed at the ground and gibbered like a mad monkey. "Eww!" Melissa cried. "I usually like primates, but these things are just gross!"

"Stand back." Fred said, wielding his beam saber with both hands. "This shouldn't take but a second."

With a ferocious battle-cry Fred attacked. The lead Orangutang howled and leapt toward him, but Fred swung out and connected without fail, slashing the beast in half at the midsection. Even as it's friend's body parts were hitting the ground, the other Orangutang was leaping toward Borgatron.

"Whatchoo got beef son?!" Borgatron said in a strange accent as he knocked the monster out of the air with a backhand swing. The Demonia Orangutang spun through the air and landed just inches away from Melissa. It quickly bounced to it's feet and hissed at her. She gasped "Gross!" and tried to do a kung-fu style kick at the thing - it leapt back just in time to meet Fred's blade, which scythed the monkey-beast right down the middle like a hot knife cuts butter, with a gruesome burst of blood and guts, some of which landed on Fred and Melissa.

"You see, Melissa, life isn't like a game." Fred said, deactivating his plasma sword."

1. "I-I guess not." Melissa shuddered.
