Seriously though, take the scenic routes home. No one really misses
you.
No one really likes you. Can't say anyone ever talks about you. Your
parents have rented out your room to Zular Mollari (though he usually
spends most of his nights shacking with your sister Rowena). They didn't
have any messages they wanted to pass along to you, they're very busy. I
think they've forgotten about you altogether, actually. You know what,
there won't even be a debriefing. Have you ever thought of relocating?
Allaria is such a dull place, and the world is so wide. Just a
thought. "Sounds like you've built quite the reputation in Allaria," Astra commented sarcastically. "I think you'll be taking the scenic routes whether you like it or not." Fred was petrified. He was stunned. He was enfuriated. "Zular is shacking with my sister!" he wailed, throwing the bottle at the coconut tree in his rage. The bottle bounced off of the tree and struck the manmer Billingsley on the head, sending him into another fit of spasms and violent convultions where he lay. "I've got to get away from this wretched island and away from you filthy, wretched people! Oh, if only Horace were here! He'd understand!"Astra was a bit taken back. "There's no need to call us names, Fred," she said. "We're all in the same predicament. And who the hell is Horace?" "Oh, just an old friend," Fred explained. "I used to toss him things and he'd toss them back [1927]. He was the best friend I ever had...""Sounds like an amazing relationship," the Princess lied. "But Horace isn't here, and whining will get you nowhere. It's going to be getting late soon, our next priority should be finding some shelter for the night. Too bad that odd man Hatch wasn't more social, he could have helped us in that regard." "What about him?" Alex asked, gesturing at the manmer again. "Shouldn't we like...help him...or something..."Astra had forgotten all about Billingsley (again). "Oh yeah," she replied, "I guess we should...or something..." Fred shrugged.Alex whistled idly. Astra traced little pictures in the dirt with her toes.The manmer twitched spasmodically. This continued for several minutes.
