Astra was not only appalled by the Beast in front of her, but also
confused by it. This looked nothing like the being who had chained her up,
claiming to be both Dragon and mage. The creature that she now faced was
terrifying, certainly - supernatural, very possibly - but it showed no
sign of having any more than an animal's intelligence. She felt that it
looked on her and her companions as a potential meal rather than as
anything more. She wasn't sure whether being viewed as lunch was better or
worse than her previous situation of having been regarded as a plaything.
Well, she was the one with the sword, so she was the one who had to try to conquer the Beast. Gathering her courage, she raised her blade above her head and ran towards the Dragon, hoping to get in a blow before it could strike her down. A blast of fiery breath whizzed by, uncomfortably close to her head
