"Captain's Log: Year Of The Bat, Month Of The Cat, Day Of The Gazelle. We have discovered what appears to be a small fishing shanty floating through space under it's own power. Science Chief Andrews had gone over the building atom by atom and has discovered a small quantum resonater built into the floorboards. Light-years ahead of our own, this could revolutionize space travel. Unfortunately, our worst enemies, the Brazen, have managed to track the shanty and are pursuing us to the homeworld. We must shake them in the asteroid fields, for they will surely destroy us bit by bit before we reach the First Fleet. Already, we have suffered thirteen casualties, but no deaths, thank goodness. Oddly, all casualties were security officers. Note, if we survive this, more training for the security division. No more useage of the observation deck as a secondary security office. I have already assigned Engineering a post-battle task of retrofitting Cargo Area 21 to a multi-purpose room Security can use. Captain Galaheen out."
