A bald girl, with dark chocolate skin, sidled up to Fred.
"Are you really here to free us?"
"Yes, yes I am."
"Goddess! Thank The Presence. My name is Beatrice. Here. Take this. We can't be seen co-operating with you, I think we've been booby trapped."
"How would you know this?" Fred whispered as the girl turned away to polish a table."
"My eyes." said the girl in a voice barely heard. "I had terrible vision before coming here. Then I awaken one day and my temples hurt and my eyesight is perfect."

  1. Just then the girl's supervisor suprised them all.
  2. Beatrice hid Fred inside a supply closet because she heard the supervisor approaching. Velus followed just in time.
