Cheese-for-all!

"What are you doing? You can't eat the cheese without paying!" the shop owner cries.

Fred grunts and grabs a large hunk of Colchester. "I can eat whatever I want! You were created by my decree AND at the price of five dollars. By rights I can do what I see fit!"

The shop owner is now panicked. "But please! Do NOT eat that cheese you have in your hand!"

"Why? What's so special about this hunk of Colchester that I can't simply eat it right now?"

The shop owner explains that...

1. it's really a princess under a spell.
2. the cheese is spoiled, and Fred would surely die!
3. he was saving that to be a present for his daughter, who is arriving shortly.
