It turned out that Exotica had learnt a considerable number of spells,
including one
to release magical bonds. Once she had her voice back, she was able to
recite the spell
and free Fred.
Whilst Exotica did not seem overly concerned about being naked, Velus was rather embarrassed by his nudity. He tried not to think any arousing thoughts. When Fred and Velus told Exotica about Astra, she immediately insisted that they should go back and free her. So they retraced their steps. Astra was surprised to see Fred, and even more surprised to see Exotica and the now human Velus. "I'll just free you from your chains," Exotica told Astra, and she recited the spell again.
