Fred gives up

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 22440

Fred despairs at the might of the evil Frax empire. He walks away, intending never to fight again. Maybe he could set up a stake in the Lawless Regions, the only area of space the Frax empire feared. Fred could fight and pilot a ship. The Regions always had a call for that.
Three days later, Fred coasts to a stop at a Swedana Company Nuetral-In- All-Ways Brand Starbase. His ship is shot to hell from Frax forces. And so is Fred.
Fortunately the Swedana Company worked with 'Doctors Without Borders' and Fred was treated for his injuries. He awoke a week later, sold his ship for scrap money and advertised his abillities on the Swedana Node- Network.
Fred is approached by many men and women and Glivorxes, who look like floating meatballs with spaghetti strands and are the size of a pilot's wheel.
Fred finally takes a job as...

  1. a bodygaurd for a diplomat.
  2. a smuggler.
  3. a freedom fighter against the Frax.
  4. an Official Dimensional Explorer For the Swedana Brand Scientific Corporation.
  5. a janitor for a bookstore.
