Josh treats the wound with supplies from the medical cabinet. Fortunately, it had escaped destruction by whatever had destroyed the linen closet. And like most medicine cabinets, it had a broad-specrtrum anti-viral agent, created from the ground up remains of herbs that lined the castle.
Josh would be safe from whatever contamination was in the zombie's bite.
Josh entered the next room.
It was nearly featureless, like the homes of the Spartans who lived across the sea.
Grey walls, grey floor and ceiling and built into the far wall, a piano. And oddly enough, two ledges in the wall that would fit shoes.
Josh plays a few notes on the piano.
The door to the room closes shut. Something thunks from below. Then the ceiling starts to lower!
Josh panics. He beats on the door but it is unopenable.

  1. Play something pleasent on the piano in hopes this would stop the ceiling.
  2. Play the notes he just played in reverse.
  3. Call out for help from the Story Cops. They were only one room away.
  4. Josh puts his shoes in the spots on the wall.
  5. Josh is rescued by Cecil, the Paladin from Final Fantasy 2.
