"I think it's a trespasser, Boss," said one of the crossbowmen.

"OF COURSE he's a trespasser, idiot!" quipped the annoyed man. "The question is what is he doing here."

"Uh, I'd say he is trespassing, Boss," said another of the crossbowmen.

"OF COURSE he is trespassing, moron!" growled the very annoyed man. "That's what trespassers do."

"Then why'd you ask?" said a third crossbowman, and the others laughed.

"WHO said that?!!?" yelled the man with the cane. "Come, come, who said that!??!"

No one said a word, they all knew that who ever did say it would either be fired, fried, or frikasied.

"Now Bossman's trying to read minds," said the voice of yet another crossbowman, the others couldn't help but laugh even louder. The Boss, grew red in the face and screamed: "WHOEVER is saying that step right up this moment!!! I shan't hurt you, I shan't smite you... I promise, just show me which one you are."

"He said shan't," came the voice again. The whole area erupted in laughter, except for the Boss. "That's it!" he screamed. "You are ALL under suspension... starting NOW! Come on, all of you, to the lockers... you shall be interrogated until you bleed, or until I find out WHICH one of you delights in wordplay, or both." And with that they all stomped off to goodness who knows where.

Leaving Fred alone.

Exactly as he planned it.

Which is why Fred was throwing out his voice and pretending to be a crossbowman.

Really.

Fred is no idiot, moron, imbecile, or ninny.

Fred is a Knight.

And that means something in MY book.

Really.

1. Now Fred tries even harder to get to his cutting weapons with his only free arm while hanging ten feet off the ground caught in a net.
