The Never Ending Quest - Episode 21973

A trance-like state came over Astra soon after she kicked the chicken. Her eyes glazed and her posture relaxed. Soon she was sqwaking like a chicken, following the bird about with a loving "bawk, bawk, bawk." The chicken decided to play hard to get, especially from that hard foot that left a good bruise in its side. Besides, Astra wasn't her type.

Fred laughed. He had seen many spells and this one was hysterical. But then, he wondered who would curse Astra to fall in love with a chicken. Angie, who had resented being called a dirty barmaid by Astra, (she was in fact the middle daughter of a wealthy merchant) soon dried her tears and was making a conscious effort to laugh at Astra and the chicken.

  1. The chicken gets away and Astra is heartbroken.
  2. Fred figures out who is casting the spell.
  3. Angie proves she is not mindless by reversing the spell against the caster.
