At the construction site

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 21783

Traffic was crazy and it had taken thirty minutes to get back to Manna's office at the multi-use building, sitting ten feet fron a construction site (Manna ran the warehouse part, her men had been hired by an off-shore construction firm to fix up the place next door). Unfortunately the group had not remembered that when being pursued, the second place your adversaries will go is your work.
"Wait, what?" said Stacy. "I thought i So it was that when Manna and Stacy and four crew-men stepped inside her offices, the entire site was surrounded by exactly fifty-four black-clad security people.
Unfortunately, for the security people, they had forgotten to account for the fact there were a hundred burly men (the women had the day off by coincidence) all armed with heavy machinery and ready to kick ass.
In moments, the entire area was a roiling furball.

  1. The men fell back to defend Manna's offices.
  2. A man had called ahead and planned for this manner of distraction. Disguised in new clothes, Manna and Stacy snuck out a drainage tunnel.
  3. Despite the fights, ten men smashed into the offices, all armed with tasers.
  4. Six plumbers are held hostage. A bullhorn weilding zebra-morph demands Manna and Stacy surrender. Nobody moves.
