I accepted the book and stood there like an idiot for several moments
after they left. The book was heavy, and seemed rather fragile. Was this
some sort of joke? Might be. What had I supposedly been a 'witness'
too? 'Ol Tubeface's death in the lifeboat? Why were the Westonians after
me? I was beggining to dislike these Ibs. But the book intrigued me, for
some strange reason... I went and sat down on the bed, placing my weapon within easy reach just in case. Not wanting to damage a book that was obviously so ancient, I very carefully turned to the first page, which simply had the words: "THE QUEST OF LORD FREDERIGO D'HONAIRE, DRAGONSLAYER" The first thing that struck me upon reading that was the similiarity between the name on the page and my own. Now I believe in coincidence, but this...maybe that Ib had something? But how did the Ibs get this book in the first place?
