The Never Ending Quest - Episode 2167

Fred chases after the two men. They run down a curving portrait-laden, smoothed-out tunnel. It was lit by lanterns hanging from bright pink hooks. Many creatures, of all sizes and shapes were immortalized in paint and highly polished, beige frames. Most were quite well done. Fred would have enjoyed the opprotunity to enjoy the incredible artwork if he wasn't trying to chase down his kidnapped and stunned companion.
Fred poured on the speed but he barely kept the two men in sight.
But there was something about the paintings. Each had words inscribed in the frames themselves.
Fred tried to read the messages as he ran.
He could only note a word or two at a time because the men ahead were running so fast.
sacrificed to the god C'thullu after losing the yearly dragon tourney... Velus had lost so he was going to be sacrificed!

  1. Fred manages to run even faster.
  2. Fred is at his limit. But he catches up to the two in a brightly lit room lined with marble pillars.
  3. Fred loses the two men.
  4. Fred trips a booby trap and slides down a long hole in the floor.
