"We both came to the caves to kill the dragon," Fred said. (He was still
heavily bearded, having decided that the look suited him. Besides, shaving
with a dagger was no fun - one slip and you could do yourself a nasty
injury.) He went on: "I don't know about you, but I cannot depart with my
quest unfinished. I'm going back in."
"Come on then," Astra said, turning back towards the tunnel. She brushed a stray lock of hair out of her eyes, not being quite as skilful a hairdresser as she was a warrior.
