Fred stops himself for it was obvious that Astra had been affected
mentally. Was this a trick of the creatures keeping them captive? Astra nibbled at his neck but, in a good news/bad news thing, Fred realized Velus was missing and Astra's concern would over-ride her desires. Hopefully. A minute or two of persuasion worked. Astra ransacked the room for weapons, decent clothes and a way out. She found all three. A broom handle with the bristles broken off would make a great weapon. She found a blue silk shirt, a leather vest and odd, blue, ridged pants. They were sturdy and warm so Astra did not care about the unfamilarity. Fred followed her out the small, triangular door. They met two green-skinned humans in orange one-piece suits. They were leaning over a glass window but what was on the other side kept changing. Letters, green colors, pictures of dogs. The humanoids did not notice them.
