The Never Ending Quest - Episode 21233

Three monk-mages were dispatched to investigate the boy's story: Brother Stephen, Brother Thomas and Brother Richard. (For back in this era, the order of the White Hand - whilst practising magic - was organised similarly to a religious order, and its members were termed monks.)

Meanwhile, back in the alley, the frightened peasants were falling back before the advance of the terrifying, and seemingly insane, knight and the sword that he waved.

Then Fred heard a groan that came from somewhere behind him and down at ground level. Though there were no words to it, he thought that the voice sounded familiar, "Irena, is that you?" he asked.

"Unh... Yes, it's me - I think.

  1. "Is this cavern totally dark, Fred, or have I gone blind?"
  2. "What happened? How did we come to this place? And why are you waving your sword at a bunch of terrified peasants?"
  3. Far from the stinking ghettos of Caemlyn...
