From Bad to Worse

Managing to get out from under Fred's unconscious body, and scramble to her feet, the woman used her hand to wipe away some of the muck from her face. The smell was appalling, and it was all she could do to avoid throwing up herself. At this moment, it was hard to imagine that she would ever be clean again.

She sighed heavily. She couldn't even give herself the satisfaction of running the buffoon through with her sword, since it would hardly be honourable to kill an unconscious man.

1. She hears running water somewhere in the distance and heads towards it. Perhaps there will be enough water to bathe and to wash the worst of the vomit out of her clothes.
2. She reluctantly decides that she can't leave the helpless man alone in case something bad happens to him.
3. There still seems to be plenty of beer left. (Magic chests are handy that way.) Although she is anti drink, just at this moment drowning her sorrows seems very tempting.
