You're completely lost. You can't remember anything: who you are, where
you
are, when you are, anything. You're standing in the middle of a
bloody
battlefield, with no memories, no knowledge of what's going on, except
that you're
in trouble. Still, despite your confusion, you decide to press on and
fight
the men. It's suicide, but at least it's honorable.
"Lady," the man says, "if you won't surrender we'll be forced to..." You swing your sword out at the nearest men. You strike his leg, and he falls to the ground. You give him a final blow and he dies. All the men charge at you at once. You ready your sword for a fight, but you know that you stand no chance. The first man reaches you and you thrust your sword into him, using his momentum to force a deadly blow into him. You then swing your sword at two more opponents and send them reeling back. You knock the fourth man's sword out of his hands and proceed to strike him unconscious. Then you feel a stabbing pain in your lower back as another soldier slashes his sword into you. You elbow him, spin around, and kill him, but as you do you you feel a bludgeoning pain in the back of your neck and you fall to your knees. You try to stand but the soldiers overwhelm you. Another hit and you're knocked to the ground. You turn and look up to see a soldier standing over you, his sword held back over his head, ready to give you your finishing blow. He swings his sword down toward your head.
