The Mysterious Horseless Carriage

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 20326

As the valiant Lord Frederigo D'Honaire pondered his next course of action, he saw a small powerup bottle in the seat of a nearby carriage. Fred couldn't tell whether it was a health draught, a bonus draught (which would magically add points to his Quester's Guild score-- don't ask how) or even a coveted extra life draught, but he knew it was worth having. The keys were arranged on a gird and each of them was under a number. Fred managed to find the right key, but we're not going to describe how because this episode is boring enough already. It was quite an odd carriage, Fred noticed. It did not have anything to which a horse could be tied, nor did it have a cab seat. Rather, there seemed to be a wheel inside the coach on the left side.

Opening the car, Fred pulled out the draught (which was indeed a bonus draught) and drank it down in one gulp. It tasted like rancid tapioca, but that was life.

  1. Fred heard someone walking toward him. He hid under the carriage.
  2. Inspecting the wheel, Fred found an odd slot on the side. He put the key in it and turned it to see what would happen.
  3. Fred found out too late that rather than a Bonus Draught, it was a Transformation Potion. He began to transform into one of the eldtrich LavaMen!
