Andrea Drives

I find that driving is great fun, though the traffic signs in this reality's United States are rather different from those I'm used to from my driving lessons in the holodeck. Our local friends have provided me with a fake driving licence, and I've made sure that my human disguise matches the photograph on the licence. It wouldn't do to get arrested.

At Uhura D'Honaire's prompting, I head from Arlington towards Alexandria, only a short distance away. Five minutes into the journey I give a blast on the horn at some dozy driver who won't pull over to let me by. I notice that one or two of my companions seem a little nervous for some reason. I overhear Uhura mutter something about "it's all right for you Champions, since you're immortal".

Not very long afterwards, by which time we seem to be close to the middle of the old town, I spot an empty parking space and pull over into it. Once we have emerged onto the sidewalk, Synizn asks Uhura: "Which way should we go now?"

1. Uhura pauses, then says: "I feel that she is not far away, but perhaps because she's so close the direction isn't clear.
