Fred went to where Astra lay within the healer's tent, her body wrapped in
furs and skins. She was already awake when he came in. "M'lady." Fred lowered himself on one knee by her side. "You are in no condition to travel anywhere right now. What you need now is rest. There is a city, Collinsport, not far from here. I plan to leave for the city today, I have many friends there and I will be back within a matter of days with some more help. These nomads are a little backwards in their ways, but they will take care of you until I return." Astra managed a smile. "Don't you worry about me, Frederigo. Just hurry back so we can continue our Quest to slay the Northern Dragon!""I promise we will vanquish the beast." Fred was just as ready as Astra was to continue his Quest. He still had absolutely no idea who this woman was, he had never seen her before he had found her on the beach. Yet she had insisted that Fred had saved her from the vile clutches of the dragon in it's dark den of iniquity. He decided he would just play along for the time being. He had thought that he did recognize her face, and indeed he had figured out from where he had seen it; on an Aqualarian coin...this WAS Princess Astra!! This was getting very strange, but Fred was determined to find out what was going on. "I hope that I may find some answers when I arrive in Collinsport as well. The man who drew up this map to the Southern Caves, the famed cartographer William LaPorte, obviously hadn't been to the area in awhile. He just happens to live in Collinsport. His map did me little good. Why were there two bloody entrances to the caves!? And how did I get transported all these leagues away once inside!? The Dragon's magic is subtle and strong at the same time...I've never liked magic..." And so Lord Fred made ready for the journey to Collinsport. He bade the Ursuin Nomads farewell, but not before taking Tavik aside."I will return shortly. Keep Astra safe and I will richly reward you when I do return. Our two people have had a long history of cooperation, and your help in this matter will not be forgotten." Tavik clenched his right fist and placed it on his heart. "You have my word: we will guard her as one of our own."And so Fred's journey began...
