Continuing On With The Quest

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 199

Fred makes a hard decesion. Come what may, he had to kill the dragon first. Hopefully the Court Wizard could restore Exotica's voice so she could restore the animals.

Fred leaves some food where Exotica can reach it and Velus and Fred continue on down the caves. A little while later, following some clues they had, they start a trek down a madly tilting section of the wall. According to what they knew, the dragon's servants entrance was down this way.

Velus is carefully perched inside Fred's shirt. He's keeping quiet because he's heard some rumors about harpies that gaurd the dragon's treasure when the dragon is away.

Halfway down the bizarre cliff...

...they find themselves in another section of the caves entirely.
...harpies attack! Looks like Velus was right.
...they fall. Oh no!
...a levitating snake-beast approaches and says, "Hurry up! The dragon wants his witch-meat soup in half and hour, you slowpokes!"
