Running Woman

~~my god! how did I do that? and more to the point, who or what are those... things?~~

Stacy knew that encountering headless walking business suits was not a good thing, she also knew that look-a-likes brandishing swords and making threats was not a good thing. Stacy ran towards the look-a-like and then continued on past her. At least that was the plan. But the look-a-like put out her left foot and tripped Stacy.

"C'mon, Stacy," said the look-a-like. "I already knew that you were gonna pass me by. That's exactly what I did when I saw myself for the first time!"

"Shut up you crazy woman!" screamed Stacy. She got onto her feet just in time to see a headless suit rear its ugly head, er, its massive chest up from the moving escalator. The look-a-like saw it too and ran forward with sword ready and primed. "Stacy, whatever you do don't talk to the plumber!" With that strange statement the look-a-like began to hack and thwack. Meanwhile Stacy began to run again. Pass the empty food court, beyond the shuttered shops, away from the darkened hallways she ran. She ran back down another set of escalators and found herself in a somewhat busy section, atleast there were some other human beings! They were eight people waiting for the next train. Stacy stopped, caught her breath, and sat down on the nearest bench.

~~the first sign of anything without a head and I'm outta here!~~

Then she took greater notice of the eight people. There was a couple, a jazz man (by the looks of him) with a small girl, three nurses, and a plumber!

1. The sound of a train is soon heard, but mixed in with that sound is something else, something that doesn't quite fit...
2. One of the nurses walks towards Stacy with a curious look on her face...
