Dark Tower Trilogy

(Unfortunately for the author of the previous episode's option #2, Fred had never read any of Stephen King's Dark Tower trilogy and so his sudden transformation into Stephen King kind of went a little loopy.)

King Stephen, imbued with mysterious superpowers mysteriously granted to him by powers far more super than he, shivers as he stares at the three gaunt obsidian towers. He does not shiver because he is afraid. He does not shiver because of the malevolent evil he can sense all around him. He shivers because it is the middle of winter and he isn't wearing a coat.

And then, holding aloft his famous blade Parhelion, he strides forward to meet his destiny.

1. Darkness reaches out for King Stephen as he enters the first of the three very dark and evil towers...
