Velus did not want to go home but since he was a dog and they were two strong warriors, he didn't have a choice. And he didn't want to bite them.
And so they came to the village that operated under the dark eyes of the dragon. Mollaria, it was called and it only survived because of far- ranging and unique enviormental practices the populace performed. The dragon enjoyed the enviorment and was pleased the humans did their best. It didn't stop him from experimenting on a few or eating some cattle but they weren't immolated in a wall of flame so life went on.
