"You're lying!" I shout at him and try to stand. "This is a trick!"

Strong hands pin my arms to the arms of the chair and prevent me from rising. It's that woman, the one with the gem in her forehead. If I still had my mental control abilities, I am sure I could escape her grasp, but even my ability to manifest myself in physical form is growing weak, and I cannot stop her.

"Omega," she whispers in sympathetic voice that surely must be meant as mockery, "Relax. We really are trying to help you."

The Doctor pulls out some sort of scroll from his pocket and begins to read.

"What is this?" I cry, rage filling my voice.

"Shhhh," says the woman in my ear, and the Doctor continues to read...

...And something strange is happening. I feel... I'm not sure what I feel. A change, a glorious, overwhelming, wonderful change...

1. Maybe they ARE trying to help me, I think, just before I lose consciousness.
