Within a tower of the famed Castle at Caemlyn a pidgeon-dove chirped and
cooed. The woman by its side gave it a smile, a slight pat, and a morsel
to eat. She then unraveled the tiny shred of clothe that had been tied to
the creature's left foot. Upon it, printed with the blood-mixture of
various animals, was a message deep and foul. She immediately transcribed
the note upon an appropriate chalk wall and walked down the corridor to
see her superior.
As Belboz the White and Captain Locke neared the eastern bounds of the shirelands of Caemlyn they were continuing their drawn-out conversation. "...is amazing! With nothing more than a piece of string, a feather, and three cups of blood from a blue-skinned bull you discovered the flight speed of an Aefrikan swallow carrying the burden of a... what was it?" "A coconut. Deduction and common sense, my friend, that's what it comes down to. Why, with the right minds and enough blood we could discover every secret this world has to offer!" Belboz beemed with pride in his trade and arte. Within the walls of Grandelve, King Fred's holiday chateau, the aforementioned king was pacing, back and forth, whither and thither, here and there and everywhere... "Will you stop that!?" said an exasperated Queen Exotica. "You're going to run a rut into the floor." Fred stopped and looked upon his lovely wife. "Sorry. But damnit! we're in a pickle jar, and you know how I hate anything that's been pickled!" "It might not be as bad as it seems," said the Queen. She stopped as a servant entered the room. The servant let them know that the bags had been packed and that the carriage was ready to bring them back to the King's City. Once he had left the Queen continued. "Perhaps the message was smudged, its happened before." "But if not?" said Fred with eyes full of worry. The Queen said not a word. She knew that if all the pieces fit as a few thought they did, Allaria was in for a rough time and probably very soon.
