There were only four people left alive in the village anyway. The deposed king, a forty year old prostitute, a barmaid with fantastic sword fighting abillities and Jorge the drunken wife-beater and sheep-molester. He's sitting in jail, curled up in a frightened ball and wandering what the hell all that screaming was that had been going on for so long.
Fred stumbles on, his stomach wound crusted over and bandaged tightly. The pain it causes does not go through to Fred's diseased mind.
