A new room

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 1866

Fred leaps through the door, seconds before it closes on him.
He finds himself in a nursery. Ten stainless steel cribs, scattered haphazardly around the room. In all ten lay humanoid babies. Scaled babies. All sleeping soundly. With every exhaltation tiny jets of flame would shoot out of their nostrils and gills on the sides of their necks.
Fred looked around. Quite naturally the only other door is on the far side of the room.

  1. Fred sneaks through without incident.
  2. Fred accidentally wakes up a baby.
  3. Fred accidentally wakes them all up.
  4. A mother enters the room.
  5. The cribs start moving about even as the babies sleep. To make it worse, various sharp edges emerge from spots on each crib!
