Hospital Madness

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 18591

Fred flees through the gleaming, pristine grounds of the hospital. Any other day he would love to stroll among the multi-colored trees or observe the ducks in the many ponds. But now, he fled.
And it was only his years of military training that kept him one step ahead of the nurses, for lest we forget, Fred was in a very bad way. Plus addled on painkillers.

  1. Fred escaped out the front gates.
  2. Fred ran into a brick wall and knocked himself out.
  3. Fred met a gigantic monster.
  4. The fear and paranoia was just a side effect of the painkillers (allergies). Fred is given different ones and sleeps.
  5. Fred overhears some detailed dialogue. Scott Chen had shown up in the hospital. He had been right to flee.
  6. Actually, all the running was just a mild fantasy. The painkillers were -really- good.
